With a delicate eco-system, but stately presence, the mountains represent strength in simplicity and the power of nature's visual and physical rhythms. On a Winter's morning, the mountains can look as gentle as a cloud, on a summers sultry afternoon, a fiery force. With each movement of the sun, the mountains dance. Keeping these images in mind Alison has created Designs using semi-precious and precious stones, African trade beans, river rocks and precious metals, as well as natures own glorious colors and combinations.<br /><br /><br /></div><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TJo52_1vxjI/AAAAAAAAAXQ/yUkG-SePXt8/s1600/Alison+Blair+Amazonite+Smooth+Stones+with+Multi+Fringe+Dangle.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 199px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5519787910308546098" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TJo52_1vxjI/AAAAAAAAAXQ/yUkG-SePXt8/s200/Alison+Blair+Amazonite+Smooth+Stones+with+Multi+Fringe+Dangle.jpg" /></a><br /><div>Alison wishes all wearers of her jewelry will live richly, love fully and play heartily. Using canvas as the foundation, she explores her inner qualities through understanding the nature and the characteristics of paint. After years of painting, she developed the method with the process of destroying and recreating to achieve the compositions. Her work is visceral, emotive in nuance and reserved.<br /><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TJuCFUA5DkI/AAAAAAAAAaY/GkOoPAXoMoA/s1600/Ting+Huang+%273015%27.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 198px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520148796056079938" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TJuCFUA5DkI/AAAAAAAAAaY/GkOoPAXoMoA/s200/Ting+Huang+%273015%27.jpg" /></a><br /></div><br /><div></div><div>"The journey of painting at this point of my life is showing lots of non-objective images that seem like city or bird view landscapes. Recreating and destroying became a therapeutic<br />way for me to absorb and express, to provoke and to let go. I perceive my own inner qualities through a different dimension and learn to accept and celebrate them. Following what I believe is natural, welcome the challenges, enjoy the struggles and always be true to myself.<br /><br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TJuHMufyy7I/AAAAAAAAAaw/4ApYNU7xiWc/s1600/Ting+Huang+%275461%27.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 148px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520154420982238130" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TJuHMufyy7I/AAAAAAAAAaw/4ApYNU7xiWc/s200/Ting+Huang+%275461%27.jpg" /></a><br /></div><div>My working process has established a far more meaningful significance then the final images I create. Originally from Romania, Leo is currently a resident of Chicago. He began painting at the age of 8 and by age 13 his works had been compared to that of Picasso. At this time Leo was declared a Child Prodigy. His work was featured in Time Magazine, People Magazine, the Chicago Sun Times and seen on "The Today Show" and "CBS Morning News". Around the same time that his work was exploding across the country Leo walked away from painting altogether. He became disgusted with the idea of painting and until recently had not touched a paintbrush. Now ready to face a blank canvas with joy and hope for the future Leo's back. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to paint with an amazing talent. To learn more about Leo's story please follow this link to The Columbia Tribune: <a href="http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/2010/jul/18/prodigy-to-share-passions-at-poppy/">http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/2010/jul/18/prodigy-to-share-passions-at-poppy/</a>. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 390px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 444px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5496479480705278098" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TEdq91KpYJI/AAAAAAAAAVo/MNoK7dmggpY/s400/LeoArtrageousJul10.jpg" /><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div>Poppyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17855383084910889747noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8815193754092411610.post-45518918982743009002010-06-22T10:02:00.000-07:002010-07-07T10:44:42.572-07:00Finding the Perfect Wedding GiftWith wedding season upon us Poppy has been busy with shoppers asking for wedding gift ideas. Personally I am a non-traditional gift giver and avoid registeries. Fortunatly for those looking for that special gift Poppy is the place to be.<br /><br />One of our most popular gifts for weddings are our Out On A Limb Wood Bowls and Utensils. The artists Carl and April Terhune are from Centertown MO and use only native woods to form their bowls and utensils. The woods used in their pieces include; ash, cherry, locust, oak, walnut, Osage orange, cedar, box elder and spalted maple. The bowls range in sizes from 12" to 18".<br /><br /><div align="left"><br /></div><div align="left"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpEZrYjJsI/AAAAAAAAASA/etJyWwzp6QE/s1600/Out+on+A+Limb+Walnut+Bowl.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 118px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488274303837480642" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpEZrYjJsI/AAAAAAAAASA/etJyWwzp6QE/s200/Out+on+A+Limb+Walnut+Bowl.jpg" /></a></div><div align="left"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCplaLVuhUI/AAAAAAAAATg/lo5t6pNqdts/s1600/Out+On+a+Limb+Spalted+Maple.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 121px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488310596299294018" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCplaLVuhUI/AAAAAAAAATg/lo5t6pNqdts/s200/Out+On+a+Limb+Spalted+Maple.jpg" /></a></div><br /><br /><br /><div align="center"></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 124px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491220233703702786" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TDS7tXVYwQI/AAAAAAAAAT4/_7ZM4333ZpQ/s200/Out+On+A+Limb+Ash+Bowl.jpg" />One of my favorite new artists to Poppy is a potter from Contoocook, NH whose work is perfect for a non traditional couple. Boyan Moskov was born in Ruse, Bulgaria and was drawn to art from an early age. In 2008 Boyan Pottery was born in his barn, which Boyan had transformed into his pottery studio. He thrives on designing functional pottery with fabulous color and design. In 2009 Boyan was awarded "Best Decorative Ceramic Piece". Below are examples from his Patchwork Collection. <a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpEg2fwpGI/AAAAAAAAASI/9snk9HqMa1s/s1600/Out+On+a+Limb+Spalted+Maple.jpg"></a><br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpOmdT2v-I/AAAAAAAAASw/JUeMyZmD8oA/s1600/Boyan+PatchworkCreamerSugar.jpg"></a><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpNsNR6-uI/AAAAAAAAASQ/rgSV_09KaXw/s1600/Boyan+PatchworkTpot.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 182px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488284517778782946" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpNsNR6-uI/AAAAAAAAASQ/rgSV_09KaXw/s200/Boyan+PatchworkTpot.jpg" /></a> <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 146px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488284776192124130" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpN7P8dpOI/AAAAAAAAASg/hvu_8QgIlBk/s200/Boyan+PatchworkBowl.jpg" /><br /><p align="center"></p><p align="left"> </p><p align="left"> </p><p align="left">Windchimes also make a lovely wedding gift. Poppy carries the Music of the Spheres collection. Larry Roark was the founder of Music of Spheres and his vision was simple; make the most durable chimes with the highest acoustic quality possible, "the Stadivarius of windchimes". His vision of "world peace-one backyard at a time" was genuine and heartfelt. Music of the Spheres offers seven sizes of chimes spanning four octaves. Their Chime tunings include Pentatonic, Chinese, Aquarian, Mongolian, Hawaiian, Balinese, Japanese, Gypsy, Wholetone, Quartal and Westminster. </p><p><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 191px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488298245854163074" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpaLSWJcII/AAAAAAAAATA/Ss8gJyurqDE/s200/Music+of+the+Spheres+Family.jpg" /></p><p>Another new artist to Poppy is Suat Gurtan. His metal wire sculptures would be quite the unique gift for a wedding. Gurtan Designs was established in 1978. Suat's design philosophy is substance over style. He does not believe in fashion and temporary marketing measures, but believes in timelessness. He has great respect for classical architecture and produces, but does not believe in imitating the past. The past is for lessons to be learned. Nature is beautiful and has plenty to offer for inspiration. He thinks the solutions are not within different directins but concentrating on quality, starting with the quality of life.<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 130px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488308782878525090" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpjwn0hhqI/AAAAAAAAATI/uqrkgG20e8M/s200/Gurtan+September.jpg" /> <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkENzYEQI/AAAAAAAAATQ/lgZLjxdKPqo/s1600/Gurtan+May.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 153px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488309119491772674" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkENzYEQI/AAAAAAAAATQ/lgZLjxdKPqo/s200/Gurtan+May.jpg" /></a> <a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkq6z2hCI/AAAAAAAAATY/x4pvFW3kWyA/s1600/Gurtan+April.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 148px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5488309784408392738" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkq6z2hCI/AAAAAAAAATY/x4pvFW3kWyA/s200/Gurtan+April.jpg" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /></p><p></p><br /><br /><p></p><br /><br /><p></p><br /><p>-diana<br /><br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkENzYEQI/AAAAAAAAATQ/lgZLjxdKPqo/s1600/Gurtan+May.jpg"></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkENzYEQI/AAAAAAAAATQ/lgZLjxdKPqo/s1600/Gurtan+May.jpg"></a><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkENzYEQI/AAAAAAAAATQ/lgZLjxdKPqo/s1600/Gurtan+May.jpg"></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkENzYEQI/AAAAAAAAATQ/lgZLjxdKPqo/s1600/Gurtan+May.jpg"></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TCpkENzYEQI/AAAAAAAAATQ/lgZLjxdKPqo/s1600/Gurtan+May.jpg"></a><br /></p>Poppyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17855383084910889747noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8815193754092411610.post-51935545540817200292010-06-16T13:39:00.000-07:002010-07-07T14:47:17.551-07:00Wedding Bells are Ringing!<div><div><div><div>Wedding season is upon us. According to aweddingministers.com June is the most popular month for weddings then August followed by September, October and May.<br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>My husband and I were married in a traditional wedding in the church I grew up in. It was as perfect a day as a young girl can wish for. With that said it's always fun to think back and shake things up a bit! What would I do if I were getting married today?<br /><br />I would get married in October at my favorite winery, Chaumette in Ste Genevieve MO. They are home to the St Vincent's in the Vinyard Chapel. The chapel holds 80 people on the main floor and 20 in the balcony. </div><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 119px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491274538114056434" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TDTtGTBvgPI/AAAAAAAAAUQ/pOgK8wzQgpE/s320/chaumette_logo.jpg" /><br /><div>Chaumette Winery was established in 1990 by Hank and Jackie Johnson. Rich in history Ste Genevieve was home of the first colonial settlement west of the Mississippi River by the French in the early 1730's. Chaumette is home to 30 acres of grapevines. With truly stunning landscape and wonderful variety of wine what more could a girl ask for?</div><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 120px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491275803210891474" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TDTuP74VQNI/AAAAAAAAAUY/mHZMqZGmfBU/s320/Chaumette+Picture.jpg" /> I loved my wedding dress; strapless, bustled skirt, minimal detailing on the bodice, perfect for a church wedding. For a chapel wedding at the winery I would have gone more for a dress like this one from J Crew. Simple yet detailed. Love it!!<br /><br /><div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TB_IL_sk8DI/AAAAAAAAAQ4/F3npP-Isoaw/s1600/J+Crew+Bridesmaid.bmp"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5485322979563073586" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TB_IL_sk8DI/AAAAAAAAAQ4/F3npP-Isoaw/s200/J+Crew+Bridesmaid.bmp" /></a></div><div><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5485322015343533346" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TB_HT3suXSI/AAAAAAAAAQw/ewc_7MP20Lo/s200/J+Crew+Bride.bmp" /></div><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5491273494911273714" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TDTsJky0SvI/AAAAAAAAAUA/ReYZ0N2NwQk/s200/Bridal+Bouquet+2.jpg" /> <div> </div><br /><div></div><div>My bridesmaids wore apple red strapless gowns with bustled skirts. Today I would choose a short, strapless cocktail dress in my favorite color palate, Light Pewter. </div><div><br /><br />The only thing I regret is that my jewelry was so specific to my dress I have yet to wear it again. We have carried Kathy's line of sculptural wire jewlery for several years. She currently resides in Northern CA, so this is a rare treat. She will be bringing a special collection of jewlery that will only be available while she is in town.<br /><br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 224px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5478249974569515634" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAanU60COnI/AAAAAAAAAM4/0QKIAchlbNU/s320/Kathy+Frey+Post+Card.jpg" />Kathy is an artist in all aspects of her life, jewlery has always been a hands on passion for her, a life-long maker, designer, and crafter. Her restrained use of color flows from her emphasis on contrast, structure, positive and negative space, tension and kineticism - all expressed in her handcrafted constructions. <a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAaqTKtEyKI/AAAAAAAAANQ/YWBcSXoIL10/s1600/Kathy+Frey+Wrapped+Band+Rings.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 132px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5478253243010435234" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAaqTKtEyKI/AAAAAAAAANQ/YWBcSXoIL10/s200/Kathy+Frey+Wrapped+Band+Rings.jpg" /></a><br /><div><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAapR1KJihI/AAAAAAAAANI/qR23V4PAM7s/s1600/Kathy+Frey+Anemone+Neck.jpg"></a></div><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAapR1KJihI/AAAAAAAAANI/qR23V4PAM7s/s1600/Kathy+Frey+Anemone+Neck.jpg"></a></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAapR1KJihI/AAAAAAAAANI/qR23V4PAM7s/s1600/Kathy+Frey+Anemone+Neck.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 132px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5478252120535304722" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAapR1KJihI/AAAAAAAAANI/qR23V4PAM7s/s200/Kathy+Frey+Anemone+Neck.jpg" /></a></div></div><div align="center"><div align="center"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAapR1KJihI/AAAAAAAAANI/qR23V4PAM7s/s1600/Kathy+Frey+Anemone+Neck.jpg"></a></div></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="center">Kathy's Anemone Necklace, </div><div align="center">Bloom Pins and Wrapped Band Rings </div><div align="center">are some of my favorites. </div><div><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 192px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5478256587877851570" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/TAatV3TnIbI/AAAAAAAAANY/hhmi5B9bVDM/s200/Kathy+Frey+flower+pins.jpg" /></div><div align="left"></div><div align="left">I love the way Kathy uses raw materials and turns them into pieces with a sophisticated edge. Although I'm fortunate to have a job that surrounds me with vibrant art year round nothing compares to Mother Nature's original work. There is something special that occurs when she is ready to introduce Spring to us. Being able to walk outside surrounded by blooming flowers and budding trees is truly energizing to my soul. With signs that Spring has arrived it's time to celebrate! What better way to celebrate then coming downtown for a night of art!<br /><br /><br /></div><div align="center"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/S8zXz70qDTI/AAAAAAAAAEo/vq-_wMg0Fsc/s1600/ZN+Creative+Arts+with+Flowers.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 211px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 192px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5461977735325420850" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/S8zXz70qDTI/AAAAAAAAAEo/vq-_wMg0Fsc/s320/ZN+Creative+Arts+with+Flowers.jpg" /></a>Artrageous Friday is April 23 from 6pm to 9pm.</div><div align="center">We are very excited to </div><div align="center">announce our featured artist:</div><div align="center">Grace Wang-Bishop of ZN Creative Arts</div><div><br /></div><p align="left"><br /></p><p align="left"></p><p align="left"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/S8zIaV94b6I/AAAAAAAAADw/OAWNq8YNYnI/s1600/ZN_Image+1.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 177px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 203px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5461960802992418722" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/S8zIaV94b6I/AAAAAAAAADw/OAWNq8YNYnI/s320/ZN_Image+1.jpg" /></a>ZN Creative Arts is a Chicago-based studio known for the bold, modern reversible jewelry pieces designed and created by Grace Wang-Bishop. Begun in 2003, ZN Creative Arts (named after Grace's Chinese Name, Tzu-en) creates wearable works of art by utilizing enamel on copper, sterling silver and semi-precious stones; geometric and three dimensional shapes that recall the angular bones of contemporary architecture. In addition, her creations add a level of modularity that allows women to not only partake of the initial design process, but also act as designer each time the piece is worn. Some items, in fact, offer up to four different looks in one piece.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/S8zSHWKwlTI/AAAAAAAAAEY/Bm0zLzFhGYY/s1600/ZN+Flower.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 229px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 219px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5461971471745193266" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/S8zSHWKwlTI/AAAAAAAAAEY/Bm0zLzFhGYY/s320/ZN+Flower.jpg" /></a><br /><br />Grace's Industrial Design background has helped her find innovative ways to structure materials into 3-dimensional objects. However, her Asian heritage naturally factors heavily into her designs as well. She spent her formative years in Taiwan, where beauty abounds in the form of calligraphy, poetry and the ancient folk art of Chinese Knotting. These iconic techniques and motifs of the culture are obvious in her work; they emerge reconceived in thoroughly modern ways.</p><div><br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">Contemporary and classic, simple but complex, ZN Creative Arts jewelry pieces are creations that can be whatever you want them to be at any given moment.<br /></div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 271px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5461976867192180642" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Fogi95UmySw/S8zXBZxkD6I/AAAAAAAAAEg/dq08BiF9rsA/s320/ZN+Variety+Image10.jpg" /> </div><div align="center">This Friday is going to be filled with beautiful jewelry, mini cupcakes, </div><div align="center">champagne and good company!</div><div align="center"></div><div align="center">Don't miss out on the fun!</div><div align="center"><span style="color:#009900;"></span></div><div align="center"><span style="color:#009900;">-Diana<br /></div></span><div align="center"><br /><br /></div><div><br /><br /><br /></div><p align="left"><br /><br /></p><div><br /><br /><br /></div><div><br /><br /><br /></div><div><br /><br /><br /></div><div align="left"></div></div></div>Poppyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17855383084910889747noreply@blogger.com0
